Saying A la Carte will save customers money is like saying my taxes are going down.

TV providers have to make a profit like everyone else to stay in business. If a customer thinks he will now have a $10.00 TV bill when they go to A la Carte then that customer will have to pay a premium up front. Remember the sales pitch 25 years ago. "Just pay $3,500 for the C Band equipment and you will get free TV for life"....

Okay folks, here's one more letter from the batch we received on our Monday comments on a la carte ... We're still waiting to receive even one response in support of the status quo.

I do not subscribe to any satellite or cable provider because I do not want to be forced to pay for channels I have no interest in, nor for programming that, well, are you familiar with the term, "The bottom of the barrel?"
