Viewsat Viewsat HDMAX on Amazonas

I just loaded the file PFTA HDMSW_090628HM.Peg to my new MAXHD STB. The file appears to be loaded satisfactorily. I selected the satellite Amazonas (61.0W) and did a blind scan but no channels came in. I'm lost as to why this has happened. BTW There are no issues with the dish positioning or LNB.

could be a problem with your dish settings, try a regular sat scan instead of the blind scan see if that helps. we need more info to try the spot the problem.

Problem resolved:
Set the ON/ OFF option in Network Search to OFF and Auto Scan the satellite... Channels came in and are showing beautifully.

I have the experience of programming the VS Ultra and Xtreme STBs and they never required the abovementioned step. A thorough check of the submenus threw up the Network Search option and I concluded that turning it off might resolve the problem and it did.
