Azbox HD How can I do a "Format Application Area"?

How can I do a "Format Application Area"? Purpose: To clear out the remnants of a prevous firmware setup.

Requirements: A USB stick loaded with any AZBox upgrade firmware in the form of patch.bin, there is no need to use this firmware as it is only used to gain access to the menu that contains the item "Format Application Area".

You can download the latest firmware from the internet by using the BLUE HOME button -> Setup -> Firmware Upgrade -> Internet -> Update List, the selected firmware will then download and install onto your AZBox.

Then:
Power DOWN, and then Power UP the Receiver with the USB stick (loaded with any valid Patch) Inserted.
From the Upgrade menu, choose: 4. Format application area. - This action removes any corrupt application software.

When the message "Formatting: done" is on the screen, press the EXIT key to return to menu.

Choose 5. Boot without update.

When the Receiver has rebooted, remove the USB stick.

You can now Setup the receiver again from scratch.
