Does any one know any updates on the coolsat

Does any one have any news of went coolsat 6100 will be back up if you do please help thank you and does anybody know about that softcam file what is it for thank you

sure nicole i will see if i can help you!!first off thy did release a file but it had freezing problems(new ecm) and they had to pull it and do a bit of tweeking. it will soon be out every one is well over due!! things do happen all box's have a break in support at one time or another coders ARE like you and me thy get hit with things too!! softcam is to update keys the easy way that's all if the file is bad the softcam upgrade will do no good!! now im going to move this to the coolsat section since that's what it is about. i hope i answered your questions it will come coolsat has been here to long to ever give up!!

Softcams are not used very much anymore to update key's as the autoroll has been working on most units. I haven't had to update keys in almost two years.

There are a few new files out but the one for the 8000hd did not work I have not tried any of the others. But the only fixes posted are for the 8100 and the 6100 and the 8000 that is bad

thy are not posted anymore thy have been removed!! staff here know about the files and will have them tested one way or another before they are released!! our main goal is to make SURE the files are safe for you stb!! some times files are released and as soon as thy are the ecm is changed(as we have seen this week)

hi i am sorry if this is not the place to place a question but i need help i got a coolsat 6100 and i dont see new updates but if there is can someone please tell me or if there is something wrong that i am doing please guide me to he write direcction thank you

Fixes are being worked on for the 5k,6k,61k,7k & 71k receivers. When finish and tested it will be post.

Nothing you're doing wrong honey... Just keep check for updates.

its in the same boat!! it will work out i hope its out for mothers day for you!! there been a few problems that they (both groups) are working very hard to over come!! just right now it $^(#$!!!!! they will pull through it!! as soon as they are out you can bet they will be here!!
