Coolsat Coolsat 7000 loader - can't open zip?

I've downloaded the loader for coolsat 7000 PVR. Every time I try to extract it I get a message can not copy file?

I can open all other downloaded zip files with no problem. I'm hoping someone could possibly PM me, and I could give my email and have them send it that way. I'm trying anything. After the last ECM my 7000 no longer reads my thumb drive. The thumb drive light comes on I go to menu them data transfer from thumb to stb but display says no file available?

If your receiver is not reading the thumb drive instert it and then hard boot the unit by turning of the main power switch and turn it back on. It should recognize it

before you downoad file have you ever try to format thumb drive.

I've already used thumb drive several times with no problem. I will reformat it again and retry. I've done the hard reboot with thumbdrive in place with no luck. The thumbdrive lights up but unit doesn't recognize it, so maybe a reformat is what it needs.

I reformatted thumbdrive on my computor but stb still did not recognize it. I went into stb menu and tried to reformat but got message "reformat failed"
I put a new thumbdrive in stb it reformatted just fine. Loaded lastest file and everything is working properly. Thank you everyone for the help

Hi. I am experiencing a similar problem with the loader. everytime I try to "unzip" the file, my Norton antivirus program tells me that it has removed the file because it is contaminated with a virus called "Backdoor.Graybird".

I have tried turning off the Norton while I unzip and use the loader. Once I finish updating my box with the new file, I turn on the Norton and it immediately "captures' the virus and fixes it by erasing the loader.

Does anyone have a "CLEAN" loader file?. Can anyone tell me how to clean the file so Norton will not erase it?

hrsfty2 please no need to threadjack. we have seen your other post and it is being looked into. we read ALL threads here. and am more then happy to get it taken care of for you we will see what the big guys say.but still thanks for letting us know!!

loader is an exe file Norton will do this as other virus programs will too. just disable until finishes download and extracts. hope this helps you out!! need anything just ask glad to help!!
