Loading Conaxsat Files


When new S/W files are released (factory bins and software bins), the release notes will have instructions for loading.
When new EXX files are released, (patch files) There is no instruction necessary.
Release notes will only say -> DN or B3V or both.

UNO (mini) and UPB (Duo/Trio) and now the NPB (Nano) files:
-These files may come in the form of a factory file or a software file.
-A Factory file is always loaded as "bootloader upgrade".
-A SoftWare file loaded as "S/W upgrade", OR "bootloader upgrade". **That is why we need to read release notes with every S/W Upgrade release.

]The S/W files are the exact same file for the Duo/Trio (DTB-UPB).
The mini (UNO), has it's own S/W versions.
The Nano (NPB), has it's own S/W versions.
The patch files (EXX), are the exact same file for all 3 CNX models -> mini, Duo/Trio, Nano.

EXX Files:
-These files, refered to as patches, are always loaded the same. Simply click on the patch in USB menu then one more click on the OK icon when it appears, thats it.
-There may be many patch files released between S/W update releases.
-Patch files are the same file for all three models of cnx (mini, Duo/Trio, Nano).

Factory Defaulting:
-No need to factory default as it is forced when we load a S/W Upgrade file.
There is no factory default that takes place when loading patch after patch without any S/W versions being loaded.
There is a manual default option in the cnx menu.
If you choose to also manually default then this must be done before loading patch files and not after.

Channel Scanning:
-No channel scan after loading patch file alone. There was no factory default.
-Channel scan after loading S/W Upgrade. There is a factory default that takes place.
