Pot Roast

[hotblonde]

3 lbs beef roast (rump chuck or round)
2 large onions
4 stalks celery
5 carrots
5 small red taters
1 can coca cola
oil for browning meat

Rub 2 tablespoons cumin, lowrys season salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper

1. season meat with rub mixture
2 heat oil and brown meat on high heat all sides (the heat will caramelize the sugar and proteins in the meat it results in a rich flavor)
3 while meat is browning put coke in crock pot on high, cut onions celery carrots and taters.
4 when meat is brown on all side place in crock pot
5 put in cut veggies
6 cover and cook 2.5 hours flip meat over and cook another 2.5 hours ( 5hrs total)

Note: The meat should be covered in broth if not add enough beef broth to cover meat through the cooking process.

About time you came out to play----IF you behave I`ll get her recipe for both the lamb & the soup & post them either tonite or tomorrow. GREEK lamb is only made with Ontario Spring Lamb---------greeks wouldn`t be caught dead eating New Zealand lamb or mutton with that mint jelly crap. That`s what I give Sam (upper left) how`d ya think he got that way. LOL. That`s only if you`re NICE all day to everyone Ttoys---if not I only will PM the recipe to hotblonde (and her friend if weed`s right). Hotblonde will report any variations re your "niceness"
