Bread Pudding

2 cups milk
12 slices white bread,quartered
2 cups sugar
1 stick unsalted butter,softened
4 large eggs
1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
1 cup raisins
one 7 1/2 0z. can pineapple chunks,drained
1 tblsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground allspice

preheat oven to 350,grease a 9in square baking dish.
in a bowl,add milk and bread and let it soak for 10 min.
in a large bowl cream the sugar and butter together.beat in the eggs,add all the remaining ingredients and mix.
stir in the soaked bread,and pour all of it into the baking dish.
bake for 45 min. or until it's browned on top and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
