CW600 Step by step set-up

Setting up CW600 start to finish with dish 500 2 single legacy lnbs and single dish at bev 91also legacy lnb ( also wanted to use USB adapter )

1 Hook up supplied Null modem to computer and back of stb

2 Turn on stb back power switch wait about 5 secs , press power button to get it to standby mode to show --:--

3 open loader 1.04 and pick com 1 , click on download main S/W, then click on the folder icon and browse and find unzipped 1.42 (or latest file) , then hit start ,wait for it to say end .

4 Hook usb adapter and cable to laptop
open loader 1.04 and pick com 6 ( that is my usb adapter port ) , click on download main S/W, then click on the folder icon and browse and find unzipped 1.51 (or latest), then hit start ,wait for it to say end .

5 Hook up cable to discq switch 119 port 1 ,110 port 2 ,91 port 3

6 Hook up diseq cable to lnb in

7 Went to menu ,installation ,ant setting

8 Found 119 echostar 7
Lnb freq 11250
Diseq type LNB1
Legacy s/w off
Lnb type normal (for DishPro select OSD_DP)

9 arrow down to the second tp as first showed no signal as is a spot beam in my area

10 hit blue button and start scanning

11 when finished go to 110 echostar 6,8

12 hit blue button and start scanning

13 when finished go to BEV 40 ku galaxy 11 (91 w)

14 hit blue button and start scanning

15 exit menu

16 Go to menu channel manager and set time to –5:00 for east coast (or what applies)

17 Go to Menu –system setting –system
menu lan -english
audio1 -english
chan change –blank
Multi pic loop –off
Epg style –normal
Close caption-off
History –no
Chan number –sid (to put channel's in dish order)
Auto tp –on
Key message –on
Display full name –on

18 Menu system setting –osd
Had to arrow down to find then set
Auto roll to on

19 exit out of all menus
hit F1 H shows up on display then hit 000 to enable key patch

20 Start watching TV ,Dish came on almost instant had to leave on Bev channel for keys to kick in and bev came on
