CaptiveWorks no epg

I have a captive works 800s, and on a lot of channels on the guide it shows no epg, does anyone else have this, or maybe i am doing something wrong missing a step?

just change channell to something, epg should fill in, if that channell does not work try another 1, it should fill in about 5 min

Hello heffer,
Also make sure the time and date are set correctly in your menu settings. And make sure your auto transponder is set to on, so when they move channels to a different transponder you still pick them up. Hope this helps. Please let us know.

i still am having problems trying to get the epg to load up??

go to channel 239 and wait for about 5 minutes.

Also if your auto transponder wasn't set to on, when they moved channels around it didn't move your channels list to match them. The way to solve that is to make sure it's on and delete all channels and radio and then auto scan your sats again. That will re-populate your channel list and hopefully show all channel info. There has been a big issue with this box's not doing the EPG fully... It helps if you don't ever turn your box off. and turn your guide on every couple of hours during a commercial break. I have a 700s that wont populate past 2-3 hours out.

haha, i just wrote a big pile of stuff for you guys about what i have been doing.... Well, as i was doing that i left it on channel 239, approx 3-4 min and boom, all epg was back on. Thanks guys for recommendations, i will remember this for next time!
