CaptiveWorks Duplicate Channels

Probably a stupid question but I have to ask. Why the duplicate channels? Is this an easy fix or something I'm missing on setup?

Not at all,Iam not at home but I will give you exact detals when i am.
You will go into menu .. something ..chanel section.. but if you get in you will be able to delete or lock out chanels. I have a CW800s. Talk soon.

Menu..Channel Manager..Password(if you have one)..TV Chanels..
Now all your chanels will be listed . You can select the following ..Play,Lock/unlock,Delete,move,rename etc.
After you have made changes you will be promted "do you want to delete"select yes "OK"
Exit ,exit to return to viewing,

Remember when you do a channel search. when it asks you if you want to delete the existing programs, answer yes, that way it won't double up on them.

also make sure to avoid blind scan when scanning for dn sat.

Usually is a incorrect antenna setting or a blind scan never do a blind scan on any of the circular sats only the true fta linear sats
