I am running a CW800 using a DishPro lnb. A friend got a new CW800 and he found a Dish Pro Plus lnb (one with 3 plug-ins, I assume extra is for another sat) on the side of the road. We hooked it up and right away we got 95% strength on 110. We tried to move it around to p/up 119, but after we did that is was like we lost all signal. Could never get it to pick up any signal. I mean nothing on 110 or 119....not even a little blimp of a signal. So, I thought the LNB may be bad especially since he found on the side of the road. I took his DP Plus LNB and put it on my Dish 500. It did not pick up a signal at all for 110 or 119. I had it running through a DP34 switch, but to test I by-passed and used the little splitter provided with the CW800. You think my buddy has a bad LNB? Or is there something I may be overlooking? I would think the setup on my CW800 would be the same for the DP as the DP Plus LNB. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks a lot. mw

one other thing.. on the lnb there are 3 ports. there are two on one side and 1 on the other. I have it hooked up so that 119 (lnb 1) is going into #1 of the ports that are together and 110 (lnb2) going to the one labeled 2. The single port has nothing going to it.

You do not use LNB 1 and LNB 2 change to Diesq 1 119 and diesq 2 110 the rest of the settings looks ok. On the DP+ if you ever use the other sat input you may have a power problem it will turn that LNB into a power hog and you may need to add a power inserter or a old provider"s receiver. to power it to get the switch to work. The FTA box's put out 500ma power to the antenna and the provider box's 750ma you should not have any problem with it if you use it for 110 and 119. Good Luck hope this help's you.
