I am trying to use that switch/splitter that came with my CW800 receiver. I have a dish pro plus lnb. I take the #1 to diseq (lnb 1) into the switch and take #2 to disque to (lnb 2) then have my coax coming from switch labeled "to reciever". For what ever reason this setup does not work. When I hook up sraight from the reciever to one of the ports on LNB it works, but I think that will only pick up one of the satelittes. Any ideas why won;t work using that switch/splitter that came with the box

If you have a DP+ you don't need the switch it has it's own built in switch. Just hook 119 to input 1 and 110 to input 2 if you have you antenna settings right scan sats and watch tv. don't forget to set your time. If you have problem's Post you antenna setting's and we will help you out.

Ok, I am not picking up 110. I put the new CW800 on my setup and gave my old one to the friend that was setting up his. I just gave it to him since it was all setup. My setup is Dish Pro LNB going through DP34 switch. I did take off my LNBs to test on my buddy's setup, but put them right back on. My antena settings for 110 are below. Let me know what could be the reason for not picking up any signal for 110, but getting 85% on 119. Trans: 12224 Freq: 11250 Lnb type: ocs-dp 22khz: On Diseq: LNB2

ok, I bypassed the dp 34 switch and ran a single coax to the reciever from the lnbs and I am picking up both 110 and 119.

yo can use the dp34 but you have to play with it to get the ports correct and make sure you have the right bird so it may take a few times but it will work...but is you are only using 1 receiver then no use for the dp34 and you have it setup correctly

| Hello Lobster If you want to use the Dp34 switch to be able to hook up more receivers. Then hook them up like this. From the dish to the switch. 119w in to port 1 on the switch. 110w in to port 2 on the switch. Go into the antenna settings on the receiver and match the settings on the satellites. Antenna settings. Sat. Name= 119w Transponder= 12239. LNB Freq.= 11250 LNB type= OCS-DP 22khz=Off Diseqc. Number= LNB1 Legacy SW= off Motorized Sys.= None (it should say the sat name here if your settings are correct. it's a pop up) Now push exit and save it. Then go back in the same settings and now set up 110w. The 119w one will show up but just change it to 110w now and set it up the same way, with a few different settings. Antenna settings. Sat. Name= 110w Transponder= 12224 LNB Freq.= 11250 LNB type= OCS-DP 22khz=Off Diseqc. Number= LNB2 Legacy SW= off Motorized Sys.= None (it should say the sat name here if your settings are correct. it's a pop up) And exit again and save it. Now your set up. You should have quality signal on both sats. If you do, then go ahaed and auto scan the sats. When your done save it and exit out to your channel screen. Then press F1 000 on the remote to enable the patch. there will be a pop up on the screen saying exactly that. "Patch Enabled" or "Patch Disabled". You want it to say "Patch Enabled". You should be good to go. Hope that helped you. Have a great day my friend.

the switch is a pos.... invest in a good diseqc if you want... however for cw i would recommend getting a sw21... they seem to work the best... diseqc does work.. but alot of hardbooting is needed and its a pain in the arse.... sw21 switches back and forth fine... i think cw has trouble with diseqc commands or the lnb's just dont like the setup...

thanks, owen. I got a new switch all is working fine. I am still having an issue using the DP34 switch, but I am pretty sure it is a power issue. I only had one receiver hooked up to it. I think when I get my Coolsats hooked up to the switch it will work fine. I know it did in the past.
