multi dish, multi rcvr hookup, up to 8

how many recievers do you have, 4 or 6

her is the proper way to hook up 4 recieves:

for each dish you need to have a dual lnb:
and for each dish you are gonna need a :
3X4 Multi-Switch SW34 Satellite Switch, 4 Output :
also you will need a 4x1 diseqc switch for each reciever :

now hook your dual lnb to the sw 3x4 inputs, ignoring the antenna input between the 2 lnb hookups. now hook the output 1 from the sw 3x4 to your diseqc switch for a reciever,

repeating the process for each dish for each hookup on your diseqc switch input :

dual lnb 119 dish 1, to first sw3x4 inputs, to all diseqc's input 1
dual lnb 110 dish 2, second sw 3x4 inputs, to all diseqc's input 2
dual lnb 97 dish 3, third sw 3x4 inputs, to all diseqc's input 3
dual lnb 61 dish 4, fourth sw 3x4 inputs, to all diseqc,s input 4

and now from each diseqc switch, hook the output to a reciever :
setup your reciever for your diseqc switch letting your reciever know which dish is on which input of the diseqc switch, do your scan & you are good to go, now get busy watching t.v.

notes to follow :

when installing your satellite dishes, be sure to run 2 coaxes back to a central location for all your dish hookups :

that means you are gonna need to run a lot of coax, 2 from each dish back to 1 spot where you can hook all this spagetti up & make your recievers work
making sure you mark all your coaxes for recievers & dishes :

any time you are working on your lnb,s or switches, be sure to go to each reciever & turn all them off, otherwise you will blow al your equipment up,

if you do not have the power to your outside equipment off when you work on it, you will be out of t.v. till you get replacement parts, which could be a week or more.

MORE THAN 4 SATELLITE DISHES

you will need to change some equipment outside but hook-up is the same

change out your 4x1 diseqc switch for a 8x1 diseqc switch

MORE THAN 4 SATELLITE RECIEVERS UP TO A TOTAL OF 8

change out your sw 3x4 for a sw3x8 which has 8 outputs

to run to your total of 8 diseqc switches

and if you are gonna do this you might as well go with the

8x1 diseqc switch for the option of having more than 4 dishes hooked up at 1 time

8 8x1 diseqc switches or however many recievers you are gonna run
8 satellite recievers
