Viewsat 8000 HD

I would like to state I personaly think this is the best HD Receiver on the market today. It is easy to setup I had the 8psk board installed and Had channels installed in less than a hour and worked beautifully the first time.
(warning it is against the law to receive scrambled signals)
This unit has support second to none always on top of things and as of this date has not been down since early Jan.
It has all the features of any great receiver and Standard Defination is almost as good as High Defination. I have to admit I have a High End Samsung LCD TV to watch it on but i almost have to look and see what the channel is broadcasting 1080I I realy can't tell much difference it has one of the best pictures of any HD receiver I have seen. The surround sound is beautiful and you get it through the HDMI output or you can set it up to go to your home theater with the digital spdif output your choice. I have had mine for 2 years and have never had a problem with it. you will read a lot of heat issues about it I have never moded mine and not a minutes problem with it as long as you leave it out in the open I didn't put it in a enclosed entertainment center.
On a scale, I would have to give this receiver a 10 it is all you would expect and more in a HD Receiver.
