DN and Fisher Communications in Fued

WASHINGTON-- If you're a paid subscriber to DN, don't expect to watch CBS. DISH and the area's CBS parent company, Fisher Communications, are in a feud over money.
The battle over the bucks centers around a contract renewal. The feud has carried on for over a week. According to DN, Fisher Communications is asking for an 82% jump in price to carry the station. And it appears DISH isn't willing to dole out the extra dough, leaving eager t.v. watchers left in the dark.
Here are the stations no longer available: KOMO, KUNS, KIMA, KUNW, KATU, KVAL, KBCI, KID, KBAK, and KBFX. In all, ten stations in seven northwest markets.
Fisher Communications released a statement that read in part, "...we were unable to reach acceptable terms to ensure that DISH provides us fair compensation....We regret any inconvenience." They've set up an automated voicemail for viewer's complaints.
The fight has even spilled over into state government. The Attorney General's Office has posted a link on their website for viewers to file a complaint. But the Attorney General is warning viewers beforehand: the feud is between the two companies, and the two companies only.
