Still No DIRECTV/KJZZ Deal, Multiband Acquisition

As of press time, DIRECTV still had no deal to carry KJZZ in its Salt Lake City local TV lineup. In a post on its Web site, KJZZ said a lack of a deal means that DIRECTV viewers in the area will miss Wednesday's Utah Jazz basketball match with the New Orleans Hornets, which will be broadcast exclusively on the local channel --- On Monday, Multiband said it completed its previously-announced acquisition of an 80 percent ownership in DirecTECH. Multiband is a DIRECTV Master System Operator for multiple dwelling units.
