 Satellite : AT&T inks deal with DirecTV for satellite TV AT&T inks deal with DirecTV for satellite TV DALLAS AT&T Inc. and DirecTV Inc. are launching a cobranded satellite television service that will be available to customers beginning after the telecommunication company's current deal with Dish Network expires early next year. The service, called AT&T DirecTV, will become part of the Dallas-based telecommunication company's advanced TV video portfolio after Jan. 31. Terms of the deal, which the two companies said was a non-equity arrangement, weren't disclosed. AT&T shares fell 7 cents to $30.00 in trading Friday while El Segundo, Calif.-based DirecTV shares rose 32 cents to $26.55.
