Every time provd'r make changes, you must do a rescan of the sats affected, that
are in your setup, so u can see them. Other wise, u will not see the changes. Folks
think their channels are gone.

Good times to scan are anytime u see an uplink activity report that has info in there

affecting you. For example, if you watch channel 200 on 119W on a regular basis and
it gets moved to channel 207 spot, then u will not get it anymore unless u rescan.

On weekends when most all channels are open due to PPV and sports packs, etc., is
a great time to scan, usually Sunday afternoon. Also, weather needs to be decent.
Clear skies will give u the best scan. At night too, when u can see the stars, is a
good time to scan. At night the atmosphere layers reduce down to 2 and has the
effect of being thinner.

Scans shoud be done at least once per week.
