Satellite : Eutelsat Updates on W5 Satellite

In a statement released Wednesday, Eutelsat said the remaining orbital lifetime of its W5 satellite, which experienced an anomaly during the summer, could be reduced by a maximum of three years, through 2014. Eutelsat said measures are being implemented to minimize the reduction of in-orbit lifetime.

ActiveVideo Networks, which provides Web content and interactivity to more than 1 million cable and IPTV viewers, named Edgar Villalpando senior vice president of marketing.
