 Satellite : DIRECTV Adds CSN Plus In HD DIRECTV Adds CSN Plus In HD By Swanni Washington, D.C. (February 16, 2012) -- DIRECTV this week will add the Washington. D.C. area sports channel, CSN Plus, in High-Definition, reports The Washington Post. The channel, which will be on DIRECTV's channel 643-1, airs games played by the Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals. CSN Plus is the alternate channel to CSN Washington, which also broadcasts the Wizards and Caps. Whenever the two teams play at the same time, CSN will air one game while CSN Plus will air the other. (DIRECTV was already carrying the high-def edition of CSN.) The Post writes that the first CSN Plus game in high-def on DIRECTV will be tomorrow's Wizards-Jazz basketball game. The newspaper says Comcast, Dish Network, MetroCast and Verizon have previously carried both CSN and CSN Plus in high-def in the Washington area. In addition to the Wizards and Caps, CSN Plus also airs some college and D.C. United soccer games.  |
