 Satellite : Crawford to Distribute Six HD Channels for Entertainment Studios Crawford to Distribute Six HD Channels for Entertainment Studios Entertainment Studios has chosen Crawford Communications to transmit six high-definition (HD) television networks initially launching on Verizon’s FiOS TV, Entertainment Studios sends HD content from its Los Angeles headquarters to Crawford’s hub in Atlanta for turnkey HD origination services; Crawford then uplinks the signals to SES Americom’s AMC-18 satellite via an MPEG-4 mux for distribution in the United States. Entertainment Studios markets and distributes a collection of films, television programs, concerts, fitness, and children’s direct-to-video programming.
