Bell is taking steps to help improve its customer service, including same day and next day free servicing of Bell TV (formerly known as Bell ExpressVu), Bell Internet (formerly Sympatico), and Bell Home Phone. Premium express installation will also be offered as a next-day service for all three product categories.
If a residential service issue can’t be rectified by phone, Bell says that it will dispatch a technician to the home on the same or the next day to make any necessary repairs at no cost. For $59.95, customers can order next-day, Express installation for one, two, or all three home services. This will include things like modem delivery and set-up, speed and performance optimization, e-mail set-up and account registration, and question and answers. Bell’s standard installation scheduling is also available for those customers who wish to wait for the free option.

Bell’s President and CEO George Cope says that improving customer service is the company’s “number-one strategic imperative”.
