Satellite : 1 Dish Network Van Burglarized, Another Stolen

FLORENCE, Ky. – A Dish Network employee found evidence of a break-in to his van when he reported for work Wednesday morning.

It was around 5 a.m. when Florence police were dispatched to 7900 block of Tanners Lane for a report of a possible burglary.

A Dish employee reported for work and discovered a shattered window and the front door unlocked.

At that time, officers located another business in the same complex that also had a broken window and an unlocked door.

Dish Network reported that a van was missing and the van had a GPS tracking device.

Once the van was reported as stolen, the LOJACK system began sending information on the location of the van. The signal was picked up by Covington dispatch.

Covington police located the van and arrested two suspects, Ryan Looney, 21, of Elsmere and Miguel Hony, 19, of Florence.

In addition to charges in Covington, burglary charges are pending in Boone County.
