Will Fedor end up signing with Strikeforce?


With the sudden demise of Affliction following the cancellation of its “Trilogy” event, the world’s best heavyweight fighter was left without a match. That might be about to change.
According to a report by The Savage Science, Strikeforce is currently in negotiations with Fedor’s management about signing a long term deal.
While it’s true that the UFC has deeper pockets and could offer the “Last Emperor” a more lucrative contract, the fact remains that Strikeforce would be willing to offer something the UFC would not, a non-exclusive deal.
If such a deal were made in the coming days, it’s unknown whether Fedor would be willing to compete on the August 15 “Carano vs. Cyborg” card. It’s quite possible that Strikeforce could match him up with some of the fighters that were willing to replace Josh Barnett on the Affliction: Trilogy card.
M-1 Global is also promoting an event on August 28, but industry insiders say it is unlikely he will be competing in that event.

GOSH!! Man, I wish he would just sign with the UFC!!! This crap is getting old. IF he truly wants to be considered pound for pound the best in the world, he needs to prove it against the BEST fighters in the world. Right now, the majority of them are in the UFC. Until he does that, his ranking will slowly start to fall and crumble.
