 Fedor's team says there's no deal with UFC Fedor's team says there's no deal with UFC July 29, 2009, 7:45 PM EDT Fedor Emelianenko may not be joing the UFC soon, according to his management team. M-1 Global boss Vadim Finkelchtein said at a press conference Wednesday in Anaheim, Calif., that he's been in negotiations with the UFC. The major sticking point is M-1's insistence on a co-promotional agreement with the UFC. The UFC has been quite resistant to that. Finkelchtein also said that M-1 has been in talks with other MMA companies including Strikeforce. With Dana White's big annoucement expected Friday, it will be interesting to see if he mentions the negotiations for Emelianenko's services at all.
