Dates locked down in Vegas for UFC 106 and Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale

The UFC has been granted two previously requested dates in Las Vegas for events in November and December according to a report from MMAJunkie.com.

Per the report, the Nevada State Athletic Commission granted permission to the UFC to hold an event on both November 21st and December 5th. The 21st will play host to UFC 106 and will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center while December 5th will see the finale event for the tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter come to The Palms Casino Resort.

It will be the UFC's first trip back to Vegas since UFC 100 as they've got stops in Philadelphia, Portland, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Los Angeles and Manchester in the meantime. Also, the report states that the UFC is rumored to go to Memphis, TN for UFC 107 on December 12th and then back to Vegas on January 2nd for UFC 108.


Penick's Analysis: It's another packes few weeks of MMA action when you look at four events in a five week span from UFC 105 on the 14th of Novemeber to UFC 107 on the 12th of December. At least two of those events are free on Spike TV. There will certainly be no shortage of fights to watch nearing the end of the year.
