need help with sat set up

hi, im currently set up with 119,110 and tried to set another sat with a dp34 switch to pick up nimiq 1 (91) but everytime i connect the other sat with the single lnb for 91 ilose the other signals 119,110 why?? info would be greatly appr... thankkkxx in advanced for any info.....sorry for so many questions new to this..

So you are using a dishpro.

You get 110 and 119 but when you hook the coax for the 91 you lose signal on 110 and 119.
What type of LNB's are you using and have you tried using a diseqc 1.0 switch?

i have all dp lnbs one dual on one sat and one single on the other sat..what im doing is conn 119 to port1 110 port2 and 91 to port 3 on the dp 34 switch but im not sure of the setup of sat 91 tp freq ect...no i havent tried the 1.0 disecq

Also please indicate what Receiver you are using.

The DP LNB for 119/110 is it a DP Twin or a DP Plus?

91W is set up the same as for 110W, just use diseqc #3 command for 91W.

i have a vs platinum lite receiver, the lnb for 110,119 is dp twin .. i tried putting 91 on 3 and got the same thing i lost the other signals. so the set up for 91 is the same for 110,119...im very new to this so please bare with me..could it be my dp34 causing the problem

it could be.
What happens if you change the ports you are hooked into on the dp34?
Example.....91 in port 1 119 in port 2 110 in port three.

Try that and if it doesn't work then I would run the single coax from the lnb for 91 to the unit and see if you are getting a signal on it.
Sometimes a bad lnb can cause problems. if you are getting a signal and can watch stations chances are you need to replace the dp34

If you need just 119 use Linear LNB. With Linear-no problem.

Circular LNB lock any dp switches.
If you want 118 and 119:
Try add 22kHz switch (Port ON)in to line for Circular LNB(119).
And Port OFF for 91.
...91 is locked under N3...you can't watch it.

I can tell you now what the problem is and I do not think you will like it
you have a bad cable or connection or you db34 is bad
to find out for sure check the other dish without a switch and see if you get the bird
if not you found one of the problems...but if you do then you have a problem with the switch...I found that those switches are a bit touchy during storms or if you hook one to it when you set them up with power on
they will go bad a lot of the time
