How to watch all channel in DN 118.8

I am a newbie in here... so please help
I am using the SV 4000... I uploaded the lastest bin.
I used blind scan and was able to scan around 4++ channels, however most of them are lock. How can I unlock it?

do a factory default, and then an antenna setup and do auto scan do not do blind scan ya and before you scan setup your local reg.

Can we get some more info from you on this.
What type of lnb are you using?
If you are not using a circular C band lnb you will not be able to watch 118.

I bought the lnb on ebay. I am pretty sure it's circular. this is my set up.
lnb type: single lnb frequency 10750 DisEpc off Legacy Switch off.

I am able to get s:80% quality: 100%. I used scan all and was able to scan around 500 channels however most of them have the $$$$ behind and I cannot watch those channels.

I do the factory reset it's still the same problem

Ok you have good signal.
Are all your channels scrambled or just some of them?
You may be getting a great signal on your setup but can you give us the signal and quality reading when you are on a scrambled channel?

there are a few channel that I can watch, but it's only commercial.
Most of the channel have the $$$$ beside it, and I can not watch those channel, the signal and quality on those $$$$ channels are great, however it's appear on the screen "Please wait for update". I wait for a day and the screen is still there. When I scan on those frequency, it's said that the frequency is lock. However i still get the channel but it's with the $$$$$ sign.

I am using the Circular LNB and it's for 118.8 and 119.... I get the great signal both 118.8 and 119. In 119 (echo 7) when I scan for the channel, and come to a certain frequency it's said that the frequency is lock. and I cann't get any channel in echo 7. This is what exactly what I did.

1. I used bin SV4000_1[1].58_factory to reset my receiver to factory setting
2. update my SV4000 with this bin SV4000_V0265P_Charlie&BeverlyUpdateFIXED_111508
3. Setup the LNB: ....lnb frequency 10750.... for signal and quality
4. Scan for channels.

Ok so first try this.
Switch the lnb back to the original and reset your dish to pick up 110 and 119.
Assuming you are using both.
If not then realign for 119 and then scan in the channels.
After you have done this replace the lnb and scan 118

Let us know what happens.
And you will need to set the lnb port to port 1 for both 119 and 118

I am able to watch echo 6,8 and echo 7... but the dave 7s I cannot watch it anyway thank you so much. I will try to play with the 118.8

Well there is the problem right there.
You did not mention you were trying to get DAVE.
You can not now or will ever be able to get that provider unless you subscribe to it.
