Is there any programs that i can download the keys and load them into my viewsat max and viewsat ultra lite via a usb ......

There is a way to do this.
It is called an opkey file. This will allow you to load the new keys to any viewsat.
I will dig it out and then upload them for you.

what program can i use to open this rar file and are the keys already in the file....do i just download it to the usb key after it is extracted..

Could I ask what do you need to add key's for. I havent had to use a opkey.hex file for over a year. All the latest bins have autoroll working and don't really need a program to add keys.

In order to extract a rar file you need to download winrar.

And yes once extracted you can transfer it to your usb drive and load it on the unit.

The purpose of the opkey.hex file is that it does contain the latest set of keys for both major providers and it just is a means of not having to enter the keys manually.

It is my understanding that he is trying to learn all he can about the different steps involved in this hobby of ours.

And true there really is no need for the opkey files we do still have members that use them.

You do not need to get key loader, because if the keys are coming out they will auto roll,if you need to change keys then you will have load a new bin, which usually will be out by the time the sat. goes down
