| EQ. and Config: I have a dishpro 500 dish with 4 lnbs. I have four cables coming into my house, 2 of which i have attached to tuner 1 and 2 of my sv-360 elite. The other two are not connected. Also I have no idea which cables go to which lnbs, I just randomnly selected 2 of them. Status: I am currently able to succesfully test 110 and 119 with the current config. Question: Is there a reason to hook up the other 2 un-used lnb's. Are there more birds that I could test in that region of the sky? |

| well the only real way to test it and see what you are picking up would be to hook each coax into your stb and see what it tells you it is picking up. There was obviously more then one sat being used on this dish if there are four LNB's and four cables coming into your house. Test each one separately and then mark them using masking tape as for what sat each is picking up. If each one is picking up a separate sat. and if you want more channels get a diseqC 4X1 and hook them all in to it. Set each sat and assign a port # using the diseqC setting, ex. 119 port 1, 110 port 2, ? port 3, and finally ? port 4. then scan the sats for channels and see what you get.

| If you have two Exit from each LNB-connect them in to two dp switches as : foe example : Sat 1-left exit -Port 1dp1 right exit-Port 1dp2 Sat2-left exit -Port 2dp1 right exit-Port 2dp2 ....... Exit from dp1-to first feceiver Exit dp2- to second receiver. If you have Single exit from LNBs use Loop output from first receiver for second receiver. At list you can use second receiver on channels the same Polarisation as from first receiver. Do not use Splitters from regular TV. You gona damage receivers, becouse central line in coacsial is under the Voltage 14/18 Volts for LNB. |
