You have no Idea how much I appriciate your fast and useful post... I did exactly that. I went to the diseqc then put the ports corectly. I think I might have the satelite in the wrong place.

Can I track it down manualy?
EG: is there a meter I can turn on and position the antenna untill the signal is strong?

I am so lost I hate this LOL

Oh yeah to install the files I just go in the directory on the memory stick then hit the green button "save" and then there we go. its installed?

My problem is I have no clue what I am doing lol... I have a conaxsat nano.. I think I have everything set up right but maybe my software is bad or I put the wrong settings on it.. What frequency does 119 and 110 use? Do you have an instant messenger by any chance? I think if I was able to speak with somone through a messenger I would fix this problem with ease...

11250 is the frequency for both and just use one wire from each side of lnb to switch not all four.....thats for the 360
just run a single line from either side but make that port 1 in coolsat setup

where do I start?

I just bought this setup:

(cnx-nano)

(ELLIPTICAL-DISH 101, 110, 119)

(diseqc switch)

I setup the hardware correct as far as I know. Do the leads comming from the LNB's haveto connect to the diseqc in any certian order? mine is set up like this:

I downloaded and installed

* Nano Factory Bin 7.07
* Nano Upgrade File 4.05 - 12/03/2008
* Conaxsat Nano 0122_1121.EXX new patch file

(is there any way to confirm that I installed them correctly)

I am lost from here... Please help and thanks

What is coolsat setup? I made it where only one wire runs per LNB but it didnt fix the problem X|

After loading a new bin file be sure and reboot receiver.. That should help with updating the receiver also..

*I think my settings are incorrect.. as far as my hardware I am 90% sure they are correct..

I have the NLB's on 119 and 110...

*Files I have downloaded and installed (In order that I installed them)

NANO_FACTORY_7[1].07.NPB setup as a bootloader
NAN_4.05.NPB setup as a s/w
0122_1121.exx I just clicked ok, it installed itself

*Under DISEqC:
DISEqC 1- DirecTV 7S 119w, 11250
DISEqC 2- Echo8/10 110W, 11250

The "meter" next to the settings says S - 5 and Q - 0

*under Channel Search:
Satellite - Echo4, 157W (but I have tried others including 110 & 110)
DISEqC - None
TP Frequency - 12224 (When I had "sattelite" on 119 and 110 It was 11250)
LNB - 11250
22KHz Tone - OFF
Multi Dish Swtich - OFF
Search options - All Channels
LNB Power - ON

*Under System Information:

SW :MV04.5CNX (Nov 19)
HW VER : 1.00
US 2.0 DRIVER : 1.00
NANO (2)
