FTA no channels?

yes i am green(about to puke)new. i have a nano. installed the boot loader, upgrade and patch. have 95% signal no Q?. using direct tv dish. what am i missing???

Well you are getting there dont give up, as we all are testing some better then others and i am new to this also but will help with what i know.

You have a nano, but using "Dave's" dish, anything is possible with a little alteration but it is hard to get what you are looking for using that dish. I recommend using a dish network setup as it is easier, i myself tried going down your road and found the same issue. You will get a signal, but your qulity is not there. try finding a dish network dish, garage sale or craigs, or even find a dishnet work van and hit the guy up thats what i did and got it way CHEAP! once you get that i think you will be on your way. Im sure that one of the mods will post here and help you even more so then i. good luck

your dish could be misaligned or there must be something wrong within your dish settings.

what sat (s) are you aimed at? and please post all your dish settings so we can help.

first NO Channels mean you have not scanned your Satallites. But you cant scan them till you have your settings right. You will have to give us all of your setup information for us to help you. Dish, Switch's and antenna setting's. when you provide this info we will be able to help you.
