FTA Looking for new receiver

I was wondering do all FTA receivers have to us the A/V cabels, or is there a receiver out there that you can run to sat in with a coax cabel and out with a coax cabel. If so which one. I was first looking for a dual receiver but I do not want to have to run A/V cables to my second TV could someone explain to me how this works.

Do you want the TVs to be able to select channels separately or both view the same channel?

It would be helpful if you would tell us what equipment you have currently including, dish, lnbs, receiver, switch, etc.

I currently have a SV 360 premier and I would like to run the same channel to all TV's. It is a DP 500 there is a switch, and I have 1 dual LNB and also a single LNB so 3 total. Does this help.

Also I am looking to purchase another receiver same setup, but I would like it to be a dual receiver, but I can not figure out how this will work if I have to run A/V cabels to the second TV or when I run out of the IF out will that go to the second TV. Does this help.

I'm not an expert on this, but I've read you should be able to hook up the second receiver with coax if you have a pass through or loop out connector on your SV 360. Your master receiver will always control the LNB, so you have to remember to turn off the LNB power in the downstream receiver.

hi spitzer, if you are lookin for a dual tuner satt may i suggest a sonicview sv 360 elite, it works jus like 2 seperate recievers, but this brought me to another question of my own, i will get back to you on this in a day or 2 when i get the info myself. i will repost the rest of your answer.

so with the SV elite you need to feeds coming in from the sat dish going to each IF IN and then from the IF out to bothe TV's. Only question is how do you hook up the second TV without using A/V cabels.

Another question I have is are there any receivers out there that use channels 3/4 to veiw the signal verses the A/V cabels.

I finally got info back on that reciever, it does not transmitt 2 channells at 1 time, what this unit will do is record one program while you are watching another is what info i got from specs, so its just a dual tuner pvr, recorder,
