Iwasthinking FTA LNB & Transponder Freq ***threads merged***

Morning All.
I need some config numbers. I'm using the 360 premier, and trying to get echo 110 & 119. What numbers to use for transponder frq & and LNB frq?

The LNB has some numbers on it:
Input Frq 12.20~12.70GHz
L.O. Frq 11.25GHz

For LNB's i use the digiwave DGD890 (multi-LNB setup on a bracket)

Additionally, with regards to the receiver, do I need any of these updates I see floating around, or will it work fine "as is".

Freq. is 11250
Transponder 110= 1224
119= 12239
As long as it is a circular lnb is all you should need.

Yo thanks Much.

i think it is circular: see the link below
**no live links please**

The switch I am using has 13V and 18V inputs. Can the cabling connection to the LNB be the problem? Meaning is there a 13v on the LNB and an 18v?

Ok. I did some research and sorted out how the LNB works (voltage etc.)

I Have both LNB's on the bracket, but only one is connected, and I'm trying to find 110 with the SonicView 360 Premier. Frq is 11250 Transponder 12224. Rotating on the azimuth I can get a max of 84 on the signal scale, but quality remains at zero.

I have Diseq set to "off". And I'm running a Zinwell 4x4. For LNB's i use the digiwave DGD890 (multi-LNB setup on a bracket)

What am I doing wrong?

signal refers to the connection between your dish and your box, quality it's the signal you're receiving from the bird.

go to menu, >>installation, >>dish settings, and try this settings to see if you can get any quality:

sat:>>>>>>>>>>>>E*6,8
lnb power>>>>>>>> on
LNB Type>>>>>>>>single
lnb freq.>>>>>>>>>11250
tp>>>>>>>>>>>>>>12224
22khz>>>>>>>>>>>>off
search>>>>>>>>>>>all
network>>>>>>>>>>on
disEqC>>>>>>>>>>>whatever port your using on your switch for 110
motor>>>>>>>>>>>>disable
legacy switch>>>>>>off

note: if you're using a single lnb to feed only one receiver will be easier to get rid of the switch and run a straight cable from the lnb to your stb.

No luck. I am actually using two LNBF's. Trying to find 119 on the stationary LNB first.

I had a friend come look at it who says I'm shooting for the bird from too low. The azimuth gauge on the stand of the ForTec dish must be wrong. He's passing through with a sigfinder this afternoon.

I'll update tomorrow.

Success!

The problem was a LNB that was dead out of the box. I cannot sing the praises of a sat finder enough. Through connecting the finder and not getting a reading, we determined that the LNB was faulty.

The only thing I would add is that I had to leave the Diseqc to "of", and Leave network search to "on". The receivers sorted themselves out as to what output of the Multi-switch they were connected to.

But honestly. Sat finders are the bomb.
