FTA Keys vs bins

I have a new CW700 and I see any area for keys. What are key and are they like the bin files in the sense do they do the same thing. If I load the bins by USB do I need to use the keys. Just a question?

the keys section is a needed part of all units.
Each one has it.
The purpose was to manually enter the keys when an ecm hit however since the addition of extra keys by the major providers entering manual keys is not always possible as the new sets are not able to be altered manually.
The bins contain auto roll for the keys so you do not need to play with the key section on your receiver.

you only need to load keys if the keys on your receivers are corrupted. But as rene pointed out, mostly 99 % of the bins has auto roll on it and no need to enter the keys.
