FTA FTA Help Please, cannot get signal quality

Hello all, big time newbie here. So i recently purchased a SonicView 360 elite and uploaded the firmware from yesterday 10-29-08. I get signal strength between 60 and 65 pretty consistently. The dish I'm using was left over from a E* installation. The dish is Dish 500 with a single lnb (serial BS1B1UP001M). I got 0 signal quality with the original point and have tried many other pointing combinations to find the 110 and 119 satellites. Primarily I've used this site (SatLex Digital :: Technology :: Calculators :: AZ/EL Calculator) for all the coordinates in addition to the zipcode32 pointing software. What am I doing wrong? I can't seem to get any signal quality. Can my dish/lnb/stb setup receive FTA from the E* satellites? Am I just pointing wrong? Any help is appreciated.

you need a signal meter to find the sat or a STB receiver with a small tv where you are adjusting the dish you need to see the Quality to be able to peak the sat signal. Be aware that 1 LNB Will only get you 1 sat.

Thanks Cougar. Can you recommend a dual LNB that will fit the dish 500 so I can pick up both 110 and 119 satellites? Also, would I use the DISEqC switch included with my sonic view to feed both lnb signals to the STB? Thanks in advance for your help!
