In this game, the posts must contain the phrase "free to air" somewhere in the text in order to qualify.

The posts can be little snippets of news, articles, or stories about free to air topics from anywhere in the world, about any aspect of free to air.

Finding material to participate isn't difficult...everyone knows how to use google, or has something to say about a free to air topic...good or bad.

I googled the phrase [ "free to air" + around the world ] and came up with hundreds of pages that contained the phrase "free to air" and the topics ranged from keeping cricket matches broadcast on free to air to legal battles over free to air.

You don't need to post the whole article, only some part of it that contains the phrase "free to air".

As usual, keep it clean and civil...we're here to have fun, and maybe learn something new!

Keep cricket free-to-air!

So England have won back the Ashes at last. I think on balance we deserved it, although you have to admire the way the Aussies fought to the bitter end even though they were clearly the lesser side. In the end, it really came down to that 2-run victory in the Second Test. If we'd gone 2-0 down then, it would have been game over.

But for many cricket lovers, this is a bitter sweet moment, with cricket about to disappear from our TV screens for four years at the very moment it has regained its place in the national psyche.

The blame for this lies squarely with the New Labour Government which has allowed the systematic rape of our sporting "crown jewels" by the Aussie presss baron Rupert Murdoch, the most pernicious influence on British public life over the last 30 years.

Having ruined the Sunday Times, which at one time was the best newspaper in the world, he's now ruining British sport - and New Labour, terrified that he will turn on them in the way he turned on Neil Kinnock and John Major, is letting him do it.

A campaign has now been launched called Keep Cricket Free which aims to put political pressure on Blair and Co to review the deal between the English Cricket Board and Sky TV.

Cricket Set for Free-to-air Return in Review of Sporting 'crown Jewels'

Live international cricket looks likely to return to terrestrial television in some form following the completion of a *government-commissioned review into which events should be protected for *free-to-air broadcasters.

As the former FA executive director David Davies and a panel of former sports *persons, broadcasters and academics begins an independent review into the so-called crown jewels legislation, it is understood the culture secretary Andy Burnham favors restoring cricket to the A list, perhaps in its Twenty20 form.

It is believed that placing international Twenty20 cricket on the list would be *welcomed by free-to-air broadcasters such as the BBC, which would find it easier to *schedule than Test cricket, and appeal to potential new, and younger, audiences.

As broadcasters and governing bodies begin jockeying for position ahead of the first review of the list for 10 years, the BBC is also expected to argue that the Ryder Cup and British and Irish Lions rugby union tours should be added to the list of protected events such as the FA Cup final, the Derby and the football World Cup that have "special national resonance" and "serve to unite the nation".

Any move to add to the list will be fiercely resisted by pay-TV broadcasters such as Sky, Setanta and ESPN, who will argue that governing bodies are best placed to decide what is best for their sports. Uefa and Fifa, which have *challenged the concept of listed-events legislation in Brussels, are also expected to argue that the restrictions should be relaxed.

But Burnham, who yesterday called for more minority sport and women's sport on free-to-air television, believes that the concept of a protected list of events has become more, rather than less, important in a fragmented media age.
