 Netflix Tweaks DVD-Only Rental Plan Netflix Tweaks DVD-Only Rental Plan Effective last week, a new Netflix user can sign up for a DVD-only plan starting at $7.99 per month. This allows the user to have one disc out at a time; the Blu-ray option requires an additional $2 a month. What's different from the old plan is that the disc-only user no longer has to first sign up for a streaming service and then switch over to the disc plan. Netflix said at its company blog that many people were confused by the requirement to first sign up for a service they never planned to use.  |
